Carnival Arts Project

Number 8 is spreading the carnival atmosphere through local villages this spring, in partnership with Wychavon Area Network for Artists (WANA).  Together we will be running a series of workshops for children and young people leading to the creation of one large banner for display at Number 8.  Each village-based workshop will contribute to its creation and the final banner will be on display alongside the WANA exhibition which runs from 14^th May – 3^rd June 2009 and most importantly on Carnival Day. (Monday 25^th May)

To get involved in this project book a ticket for any one of the following village based workshops:-

Eckington Memorial Village Hall                        Monday 6^th April

Throckmorton Village Hall                                   Tuesday 7^th April

Cropthorne with Charlton First School            Thursday 16^th April

St Barnabas First & Middle School                   Friday 17^th April

Each venue will run two workshops to the following timetable:-

11.30am – 12.30pm                                                5-7year olds
